‘ Yakoo Chai Wala ’ Recently, I had a chance to explore a very unique place which is named as ‘Yakoo Chai Wala’ or ‘Goonga Chai Wala’ at Temple Road,Lahore This place is not where one can order or eat pizza or burgers, nor will you find brownies or some Italian tea here. Rather, tea is served in a simple glass without any snacks. There are many other restaurants on the same Temple Road where one can find and eat famous dishes include Siri Paye, Biryani, Hareesa, Taka tuk, Nihari, Lassi, Faloda, Daal Chawal, Chargha, Fish, Bateray and many more. Yakoo Chai wala has been here for the past many years and every evening at about 10 PM, special people who are dumb and deaf sit down together to have tea and gossips.
